With well-fitting school shoes costing around £50 a pair, we couldn’t do what we do without your help.
So, here’s a thank you to the supporters who, over the past couple of months, have helped pay for shoes to ensure no child misses out on education because they don’t fit anymore or aren’t sturdy enough to do the job.
Firstly, thank you to the members of Coundon Friday night darts league who stood on the okey to raise £200. Doing their sums, SFB Accountants donated £400 and Coventry Church Municipal Charities’ donation of £200.
Meanwhile a big thank you to the family of Ron Taylor where a funeral collection raised £360.
With these donations alone we have been able to provide 23 pairs of shoes for children in schools across Coventry.
